Soccer Game Preview: Cabrillo vs. Jordan

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cabrillo face off against the Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday... Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cabrillo's offense. They lost 3-0 to Woodrow Wilson on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 623rd, while the Bruins are ranked 207th).

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Jordan was forced to settle for a draw. They and Lakewood finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Cabrillo has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7-3 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four matches. Jordan's draw makes their record 3-11-1 this season.
