Softball Recap: Chinle Triumphs

Chinle posted their closest win since April 9, 2025 on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Navajo Prep Fightin Eagles 6-5.

Chinle is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Navajo Prep, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-4.

Coming up, Chinle will square off against Page at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Sand Devils have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games. As for Navajo Prep, they have already played their next matchup, a 16-1 win against Wingate on the 28th.
