Football Recap: Olathe West's Rushing Dominance Continues + How To Watch

Olathe West extended their postseason success on Friday against Olathe South. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 55-44. The Owls have beaten the Falcons the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Falcons has come to flipping the script.

Olathe West had a senior duo take command as Sam Krzykowski gained 242 total yards and four touchdowns and Brody Hale threw for 251 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. Thanks to that big game, Hale is now up to 31 passing touchdowns on the season. Josh Foland helped Hale out on the ground, rushing for 144 yards while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also picking up 37 receiving yards.

Olathe West was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 355 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 174 rushing yards in eight consecutive contests.

Olathe West's record is now 9-1. As for Olathe South, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Olathe West will take on Olathe Northwest on Friday. Olathe South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
