Soccer Recap: Monta Vista Comes Up Short

Monta Vista was the 3-0 winner over Woodside when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Matadors fell 3-1 to the Wildcats on Saturday.

Monta Vista's goal came courtesy of Lyubomir Tzankov, who's now up to two this season.

Monta Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Woodside, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Monta Vista will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodside, they will venture away from home to challenge Burlingame at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Woodside their first taste of in-conference action this season.
