Softball Recap: St. Francis Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hebron Christian, St. Francis was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the King's Ridge Christian Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Tigers back in August, they had to take a 25-15 loss.

Ramsay Striggles 2028 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ansley Rabern 2028, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Adi Rose Pawlish 2027 was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

St. Francis has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for King's Ridge Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8-1.

Coming up, St. Francis will face off against Mount Paran Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King's Ridge Christian, they will host Holy Innocents Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
