Soccer Recap: Oskaloosa Takes a Loss

Oskaloosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs, falling 10-1. While losing is never fun, Oskaloosa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Dallas Center-Grimes are ranked 19th).

Oskaloosa's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-3 record this season.

Oskaloosa will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Fairfield at 6:30 p.m. Dallas Center-Grimes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
