Centura lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Grand Island Central Catholic, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's   matchup. The Centurions blew past the Crusaders 12-0 on Friday. The Centurions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Calleigh Sundberg made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs and one  double.
 In other batting news, Centura got a  massive  performance out of  Emma Jacobs, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That  triple was  Jacobs' first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Lucy Chelewski, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Centura  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grand Island Central Catholic only posted  an  OBP of  .273.
Centura has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Grand Island Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
 Centura wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  victory against Central City on the 3rd. As for Grand Island Central Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  an  11-6  win against Ord on the 3rd.
