Soccer Game Preview: Calvary Day vs. Groves

The Calvary Day Cavaliers will face off against the Groves Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Calvary Day fell victim to Savannah Arts Academy and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Groves who was credited with the win on Friday. Their winning goal came courtesy of Joel Keibert-Tejera.

Groves now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Calvary Day, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Calvary Day beat Groves by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 2-1. Will Calvary Day repeat their success, or does Groves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
