Baseball Recap: Douglas County Comes Up Short

Douglas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They came up short against the Carrollton Trojans, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-0 loss last Wednesday.

Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Carrollton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-8.

Douglas County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Coweta at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Carrollton, they will take on Walton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
