Football Recap: Brainerd Takes a Loss

Brainerd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 49-18 loss at the hands of the Alexandria Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 55-17 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Brainerd now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Alexandria, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brainerd will face off against Spring Lake Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Alexandria, they will take on Robbinsdale Armstrong at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
