After a string of four wins, Marietta's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 7-2 to the Carrollton Trojans. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 9-3.

Marietta's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Carrollton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marietta will face off against Walton at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carrollton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chapel Hill at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
