Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Roberto Lopez and Cason Golding Lead Coronado to Victory

Coronado hadn't done well against Eastwood recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Coronado Thunderbirds walked away with a 51-38 win over the Eastwood Troopers. This was a revenge game for the Thunderbirds: when they faced off against the Troopers back in January, they had to take a 35-28 defeat.

Leading Coronado to victory were Cason Golding and Roberto Lopez. Golding posted 13 points and five boards, while Lopez scored nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Diego Dalla Pozza, who earned seven points and five boards.

Despite the loss, Eastwood still got an impressive performance from Devin Falk-Ramirez, who had 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julien Falk-Ramirez, who put up eight points.
