Football Recap: Mill Valley Skates Past Shawnee Mission North with Ease

Mill Valley won the last time they faced Shawnee Mission North and things went their way on Friday too. The Jaguars took their matchup with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over the Bison. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Max Piva had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 172 yards while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

As for Shawnee Mission North, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mill Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 35-26 victory against Blue Valley on the 31st. As for Shawnee Mission North, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-42 loss against Olathe West on the 30th.
