Baseball Recap: Sidney Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sidney can now relate to. They fell 7-3 to the Edgewood Cougars on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Sidney saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Shipe, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Sidney's record now sits at 8-16. As for Edgewood, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9-1.

While Sidney had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
