Recap: Credo Gryphon vs. Sonoma Academy Coyotes
The Credo Gryphon suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a rough 46-26 defeat at the hands of Sonoma Academy. Credo has struggled against Sonoma Academy recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Several Gryphon players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maya Leach, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Hope Madden, who scored six points.
Credo's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Sonoma Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Credo will head out on the road to challenge Roseland Collegiate Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roseland Collegiate Prep is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Sonoma Academy, they will be playing at home against Roseland University Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
