Soccer Game Preview: Skyline vs. Mead

The Skyline Falcons will challenge the Mead Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Mead will have to contend with a Skyline team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen since September 4. Skyline fell just short of Frederick by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

The Falcons' goal came courtesy of Eric Garcia, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Mead was not quite Monarch's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Mead, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1.
