Soccer Game Preview: Tulare Union vs. Strathmore

The Tulare Union Tribe will take on the Strathmore Spartans in a tournament on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tulare Union fell victim to Central Valley Christian and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 1-0. Tulare Union have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Strathmore also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Fowler by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Tulare Union's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Strathmore, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Tulare Union took their win against Strathmore in their previous matchup back in November of 2019 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tribe since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
