Basketball Recap: Hamilton Braves vs. Los Molinos Bulldogs

In what's become a running theme this season, the Hamilton Braves gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Los Molinos, posting a 56-26 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Hamilton who now have five in a row.

Natalie Castillo continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points. It was the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Sheri Enneking was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Despite the loss, Los Molinos still got an impressive performance from Natalie Martinez, who scored 22 points.

Hamilton's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Los Molinos, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on the Lynx at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. CORE Butte will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1134th, while the Braves are ranked 522nd). As for Los Molinos, they will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
