Recap: Beacon Hill Gryphon vs. Glendale Adventist Cougars
Sadly, the Beacon Hill Gryphon are still looking for their first win of the season after five matches. Their rough 46-24 defeat to Glendale Adventist on Thursday might stick with them for a while. Beacon Hill was down 35-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Leading Glendale Adventist to victory were Hayden Chloe Gayares and Jazmine Climaco. Gayares scored 14 points along with five steals, while Climaco almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gayares has scored all season. Jazmin Wong was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Beacon Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Glendale Adventist, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Beacon Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Glendale Adventist, they will head out on the road to take on Vasquez at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
