Jim Ned was led to victory by Dean Guffey and Brayden Shipman. Guffey rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, while Shipman rushed for 241 yards and two touchdowns. Shipman was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards.

As for Vernon, they will head out on the road to face off against Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bowie is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
