Palmer was forced to take a big loss against Soldotna on Thursday, they got the better of them on Friday. The Moose walked away with a 6-1 win over the Stars. This was a revenge game for the Moose: when they faced off against the Stars on Thursday, they had to take a 15-5 defeat.

Tristan Barrey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Timothy Bridgman, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Sawyer Leingang was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Palmer is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season. As for Soldotna, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 13-2 record.

Palmer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Soldotna, they will challenge Wasilla at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.07 runs per game on average), something the Stars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
