Basketball Recap: Paisley Canady's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Casa Roble over Oakmont + How To Watch

After flying high against Weston Ranch on Friday, Casa Roble came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Oakmont Vikings on Tuesday, falling 59-37. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Casa Roble's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paisley Canady, who posted 11 points and four steals. Canady has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lydia Chechourka-Price, who earned six points and five boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Casa Roble fell to 2-1. As for Oakmont, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Casa Roble will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Oakmont, they are taking a road trip to take on Cordova at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
