Football Game Preview: Moon Valley Rockets vs. Tempe Buffaloes + How To Watch

The Moon Valley Rockets will head out to take on the Tempe Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moon Valley is looking for their season's first win.

Moon Valley is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Marcos de Niza on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rockets took a blow against the Padres, falling 49-8. The Rockets were down 28-0 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Tempe came up short against Greenway on Friday and fell 28-21. The defeat continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their meetings with the Demons: they've now lost three in a row.

Moon Valley will have to contain Mark Jackson as he made an impact in Tempe's last game. He picked up 172 receiving yards and one TD. Jackson showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 66 yards.

Even if they lost, Tempe's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Jayden Chavez and Nehemiah 'Nemo' Calvin, who each picked up 0.5 sacks apiece.
