Union County proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rabun County Wildcats 7-5. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Union County's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Rabun County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union County will take on Rockmart at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Yellowjackets have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Rabun County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Franklin County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
