Baseball Recap: Jasper County Takes a Loss

Jasper County fell victim to Jackson and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Jackson Red Devils. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Hurricanes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jasper County's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Jackson, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, Jasper County will head out on the road to challenge Georgia Military College at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Georgia Military College is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Jackson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crisp County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
