Softball Recap: Marian Comes Up Short

Marian lost against Millard South last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders came up short against the Patriots, falling 7-1. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keely Robbins, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Marian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Millard South, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marian will challenge rival Omaha Westside at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Millard South is set to take on their familiar foe Millard North at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
