Softball Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Elbert County Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 back in August.

Stephens County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Elbert County, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stephens County will square off against Hart County at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Elbert County, they will welcome Oglethorpe County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
