Basketball Recap: Foothill Comes Up Short

Foothill was the 67-11 winner over Livermore when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Foothill Falcons fell 46-33 to the Livermore Cowboys on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 13 points.

Livermore found their leader in sophomore Sofia Mahmood, who posted 20 points.

Foothill has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Livermore, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.

Foothill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-22 loss against Clayton Valley Charter on the 25th. As for Livermore, they will take on California at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
