Baseball Recap: Morgan Park Takes a Loss

Homewood-Flossmoor hit Morgan Park with a eight-run first inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-1. The Mustangs have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Morgan Park got a good showing from Keenan Harrell, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, Harrell gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2025.

Morgan Park now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Homewood-Flossmoor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
