Basketball Recap: Bucklin Comes Up Short

Bucklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 67-51 to the Nickerson Panthers. The Red Aces were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Bucklin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Nickerson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Bucklin will take on South Gray in a holiday battle on Tuesday. As for Nickerson, they will be home for the holidays to greet Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
