Softball Recap: Carver Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carver extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 3-5. They lost 17-0 to the Lovett Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 21-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Lovett, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

For Lovett's part, Riley Gallagher was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Audrey Lutz was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Coming up, Carver will look to defend their home field on Monday against Therrell at 5:30 p.m. As for Lovett, they will head out on the road to square off against Dunwoody at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
