The Temple Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Rockmart Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Temple is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Temple had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Haralson County on Tuesday. Temple blew past Haralson County 6-0. Jalen Wirth was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Rockmart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Ringgold.

Temple now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Rockmart, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Temple took their win against Rockmart in their previous meeting back in February of 2020 by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Temple since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
