Soccer Game Preview: Peachtree Ridge vs. Cherokee Bluff

The Peachtree Ridge Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Cherokee Bluff Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for Peachtree Ridge's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Gwinnett on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Peachtree Ridge came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while North Gwinnett are ranked 192nd).

Meanwhile, Cherokee Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 4-1 to West Hall.

This is the second loss in a row for Peachtree Ridge and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for Cherokee Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
