Softball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Takes a Loss

Southeast Whitfield County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cass, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Raiders fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Colonels: they've now lost four in a row.

Southeast Whitfield County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Destiney Kenemore, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Piper Shoemake also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Southeast Whitfield County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cass, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
