Basketball Recap: Marina Gets the Win

Marina won the last time they faced Edison and Rylee Bradley did her part to make sure it happened again. The Vikings put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 63-37 win on Saturday thanks in part to Bradley, who shot 50% from the field on her way to 26 points and seven boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Marina's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Anaya Rivera, who posted four points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks. She is becoming a predictor of Marina's success: when she posts at least ten boards the team is 3-1 (and 6-7 when she doesn't).

Marina now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Marina didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-40 victory against Fountain Valley on the 6th. As for Edison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 56-37 loss against Huntington Beach on the 6th.
