Baseball Recap: West Hall Comes Up Short

West Hall and Peach County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Hall had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 8-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Hall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Pugh, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

West Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Peach County, the victory (which was their 24th in a row) raised their record to 29-2.

While West Hall had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
