It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Ringgold ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Union County Panthers 11-10. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Panthers on Tuesday, they had to take a 9-4 defeat.

Ringgold's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Union County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Ringgold wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Rockmart on the 27th. As for Union County, they have also already played their next game, a 16-6 victory against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on the 27th.
