Baseball Recap: Sequoia Takes a Loss

Sequoia lost to Menlo-Atherton back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ravens took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the M-A BEARS.

Cole Hymer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Sequoia's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 8-2 (and 7-10 when he doesn't).

Sequoia's loss dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Menlo-Atherton, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-13.

As of now, neither Sequoia nor the M-A BEARS have any future games scheduled.
