Softball Recap: Elbert County Now 15-1 over Last 16 Games

It's playoff time, and Elbert County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Thomasville Bulldogs 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted since September 6th.

Elbert County is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Thomasville, they moved to 22-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Elbert County nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
