Softball Recap: Crisp Academy Wins Going Away Against Pataula Charter Academy

Crisp Academy never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers as they made off with a 13-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Crisp Academy got a big performance out of Mary Margaret Gibbs, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Gibbs has posted since back in September of 2024. Kylee Odom was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Crisp Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pataula Charter Academy only posted an OBP of .364.

Crisp Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pataula Charter Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.

Coming up, Crisp Academy will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Westover at 2:00 p.m. As for Pataula Charter Academy, they will challenge Southland Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
