Soccer Recap: Lanier Takes a Loss

Lanier's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Denmark by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Lanier has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for Denmark, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lanier will square off against Roswell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Denmark, they will host West Forsyth at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
