Football Recap: Osage City Indians vs. Wabaunsee Chargers
Osage City won the last time they faced Wabaunsee and things went their way on Friday too. The Indians blew past the Chargers, posting a 48-14 victory. Fans of the Indians have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Kasen Parsons was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 150 yards and a pair of scores on only 14 carries, and also threw for 288 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Quenten Stark did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 123 receiving yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Osage City's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Zach Green was the leader with two. Green is crushing it when it comes to sacks: he's posted at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
The win (which was Osage City's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 49.7 points this season. As for Wabaunsee, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
