Baseball Game Preview: Fellowship Christian Paladins vs. Redan Raiders

The Fellowship Christian Paladins will challenge the Redan Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fellowship Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

While Fellowship Christian's victory against Walker wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Paladins sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Wolverines on Wednesday.

Will Bracken tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jake Brannon was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Trummie Patrick was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Meanwhile, Redan suffered their biggest loss since March 22nd on Saturday. They lost 8-1 to Druid Hills. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fellowship Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Redan, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.
