Softball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Mounds Golden Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 20-0 loss on Monday.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Mounds, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-0 loss against Preston on the 11th. As for Mounds, they will host Pawnee at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
