Basketball Recap: High Tech SD Comes Up Short

On Friday, the High Tech SD Storm ended up a good deal behind the Central Spartans and lost 57-43.

Janelle Thomas had a dynamite game for Central, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 boards. The dominant performance also gave Thomas a new career-high in steals (six). Victoria Zamora was another key player, putting up 11 points and four steals.

High Tech SD's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Central, their record now sits at 10-8.

High Tech SD will take on Canyon Crest Academy in a tournament on Monday. As for Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Grossmont at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
