Baseball Recap: East Jackson Takes a Loss

East Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the Franklin County Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 9-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Bryse Patterson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

East Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Franklin County, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

While East Jackson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
