Union Grove is 8-1 against Woodland since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Union Grove Wolverines will be playing at home against the Woodland Wolfpack at 5:30 p.m. Union Grove's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Union Grove's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ola, sneaking past 1-0. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodland). They put the hurt on Jones County with a sharp 5-0 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Union Grove's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Woodland, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went Union Grove's way against Woodland in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, as Union Grove made off with a 5-2 victory. Will Union Grove repeat their success, or does Woodland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
