Volleyball Game Preview: Desert Christian Eagles vs. Bisbee Pumas

The Desert Christian Eagles will head out to challenge the Bisbee Pumas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Wednesday, Desert Christian made easy work of Willcox and carried off a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted against the Cowboys since September 28, 2020.

While Desert Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Bisbee hadn't done well against St. Augustine Catholic recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Pumas came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 3-1.

Desert Christian's win bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Bisbee, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

Desert Christian took their win against Bisbee in their previous matchup on October 1st by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
