Basketball Game Preview: Redwood Christian Eagles vs. Making Waves Academy Marlins

The Redwood Christian Eagles will challenge the Making Waves Academy Marlins at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Redwood Christian sitting on three straight victories and Making Waves Academy on six.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Redwood Christian came out on top against California School for the Deaf by a score of 44-31. That's two games straight that Redwood Christian has won by exactly 13 points.

Meanwhile, Making Waves Academy was fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past California School for the Deaf 49-22. The Marlins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 24 points or more this season.

Making Waves Academy pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points over those games. As for Redwood Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.
