Recap: Lindsay Cardinals vs. Orange Cove Titans
The Lindsay Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Orange Cove 59-13 at home. That 46 points margin sets a new team best for Lindsay this season.
It was another big night for Melanie Navarro, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Another player making a difference was Ava Ayon, who scored nine points along with three steals.
The win was the third in a row for Lindsay, bringing their record for this year to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Orange Cove, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindsay will face off against Strathmore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Strathmore is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. As for Orange Cove, they will head out on the road to take on Orosi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orosi is on a three-game streak of home losses, Orange Cove a 16-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
